The year is 2019 and Renault is already found a niche of its own. The Renault is a part of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi conglomerate and is riding high on its success. Things haven’t been as easy for this French automaker since beginning as it entered the Indian market with its already successful Logan brand from Dacia. It was sold under the Mahindra-Renault partnership and was marketed hugely. Still the car couldn’t find many buyers given the fuel efficiency and engine woes. The Renault brand sold its stake in the partnership to Mahindra and the Logan was rebranded as Verito with refreshed look and a hatchback called Verito Vibe. Still the magic was missing probably!
Renault Duster in India

The Renault Duster won 34 awards in the same year giving a major boost to the compact SUV segment in India and setting a benchmark. The Renault Duster is a rebranded Dacia Duster sold in European markets and is pretty successful there too. The Renault Duster opened the gates for Renault cars in India and with the launch of Renault Kwid; the R.S.A. got the sweet gift in entry-level car segment too.
The Renault launched Duster 2019 with minor facelifts. Renault Duster despite being a compact SUV has kept Indian buyers glued to its driving seats due to its excellent highway performance and off-roading capabilities. The Renault recently launched an AWD version of Duster which has just added to its applicability.
